We can almost never get it together long enough to pull in the same direction to get anything done. Something our sister state school to the NW excels at. This is true too. We have no Athletic Leadership for everyone to come together and get behind. We have one fraction that doesnt care about anything but MSU Baseball, another group that only cares that they get their same seats in basketball and then you have the Football crowd. For Baseball and Basketball and the other sports to succeed you have to have a strong Football Program. If you dont, that check that pays for Baseball and Basketball we get in Destin could disappear. Maybe not in the next year or two, but in the next 5-10 years.
You can hire someone that does what Cohen does for $100k per year. We need a promoter and fundraiser and most of all a Leader to run the Athletic Department. We dont have that now.
