    Once again, Cumbest had no choice but to swing. The last two at bats he has had 3 balls called strikes against him to start the at bat.

    No wonder that guy can't barrel one up.

    This is not on him. The ump is expanding the outside at least 4" on him.

    He needs to crowd the plate. No doubt about it.

    They have given us most of what we have. We just aren't hitting the ball. If we had gotten a big inning there we could have avoided using Sims. Hopefully we still can.

    I really wanted us to get 1 big hit, and that would allow us the comfort of saving Sims potentially. But it looks like we're going to use Preston and then Sims regardless
