    Overall...

Pearl Jam would be my favorite...but I will listen to damn near anything but pop music.

We've gotten some pretty ballin' acts over the years; Third Eye Blind and the Crows, especially. I'd definitely be down for Pearl Jam.

Btw, if any of you ever have a chance to see the Foo Fighters Live, jump on that sharpish! I've seen them twice in Memphis, and those guys rock the ****in' house. They literally played for ca. 3 hours both times; the second time they did like a 7 song encore. #Boss

Freeze sees Colt Ford in Tupelo. Mullen sees Mac McAnally in Tupelo. Here endeth the lesson.

My wife and I went. We got free food and tickets and were networking for her job. Otherwise we definitely would not have gone. But the snarky people watching was fantastic; we laughed our asses off. The FL-GA line douches came out in Ole Miss shirts at the end of the show. I'm just glad it wasn't us.

I endorse Mullen's U2 fandom. I get that they're not everyone's cup of tea, but they're amazing live. I saw them in Dublin a decade or so ago. Best concert I've ever seen, without contest.

I've seen AC/DC 3 times. Twice in Australia and once in Memphis and they were bad ass each time! In Memphis Angus played a 6 or 7 minute solo and it was the shit!

Who the hell is Colt Ford? The bastard child of Colt McCoy and Harold Ford? Never heard of it.

    AC/DC is 1.5M per show? That's ridiculous.

Hanging with Colt Ford is actually a great recruiting move by Freeze. When he signs 5-star defensive tackle Honey Boo Boo, then y'all are all going to wish Mullen had gotten cozy with Larry the Cable Guy.

I started a thread that went 2 pages deep. I have really made it now. Please tell me that Fla-GA line really came out in Ole Miss jerseys. Absolutely hilarious. Only would be better if Bucky was on stage with them. I hate I missed the Thorn/Mac show but never even considered going to this concert. Really wish I would have gone to Fogerty. That one is going to haunt me.

Haven't been to a lot of concerts.

Now I'm appreciating music more and I wish there are a lot I'd like to see - David Gilmour, Mark Knopler, U2, Metallica, AC/DC, Red Hot Chili Peppers, on and on and on....

I'd say Motley Crue but Vince Neil is a complete joke. He's not even a shadow of his former self. Although he'd cast a big fatass shadow right now.

That's another reason to add to wooz's list of why I like Mullen and think that Bucky is a tool. I saw U2 in Baltimore 2011 and it was up there with the best shows ever (Dead in Memphis and Pink Floyd in Nashville are also on that list). I've never heard of Colt Ford...

modern radio country is literally the worst shit. worse than teeny bopper pop.

u2 ain't anything to feel "cool" about, but it's a million times better than whatever colt ford is. and the 80s era u2 when they were still influenced by the 70s/80s post-punk stuff in england isn't too bad. it's not nearly as edgy as the best stuff of that era, but it's like the radio friendly version of it. by the 90s though they had completely sold out that sound for bombastic arena friendly songs and made hundreds of millions of dollars.

    Hmmm.

I thought U2's The Joshua Tree was one of the best albums of all time.

Anyone go see Jason Isbell in Hattiesburg the other night. I am really liking his music lately. Wish he would come close to Tupelo sometime soon
