    I don’t think anyone knows if anyone is actually missing our game. Steve said he had not heard of anyone and hopefully that is true but I doubt Lemonis wants to let Texas know who we are missing (if anyone) until the very last minute so Steve could have been asked to keep the information under wraps for all I know.

    Because NC state is playing with 13 players and will be short handed for the rest of the tournament and Vanderbilt is playing with 35 scholarship players. Is this a serious question ?

    I agree with the strategy, but still...in the back of my mind, I just want Vandy out of it. Also, considering the covid stuff with NC State, they're not going to be full strength if they make it to the finals. That, and we're better than them, so I'm not really worried about making them burn pitchers another day.

    Vandy grabs the lead. Their first base pitcher had an error. Their third baseman out of position on the grounder to not get the lead runner. Shame. I hope NC makes them throw a bunch of pitches.

    I'm saying that I'd take the depleted NCSU team right now over the possibility of playing a Vandy team. I don't want Vandy to get the chance to win 2. I don't know why this is so hard to understand.

    NC State is depleted enough that you simply pull for them to win whenever they can. They will literally be throwing position players in the championship series. You want that to get locked in whenever it can get locked in.
