Yea, a third of those came in one meltdown inning for VCU.

Well there's always room for improvement, but we swung the bats well all weekend, today was kind of feast or famine, but all in all a very good effort.

Single digit runs vs this pitching in two of three games is bad. We had one game we lit up the pitching. One we were up and down. One we stunk. It's the signature of a Gotro team- Inconsistency. I really wish he had taken the Rice job.

We were ok on offense, but that?s kind of what we are. We aren?t going to post 10 runs very often.

If we had opened with Sims for 3 and brought in Harding, this game wouldn't have been close. Doubt that was ever considered though.

We seem to be pretty consistent under our coaching. Consistently winning.

This and that's all that counts. Doesn't matter how you win, just win.

Got started early due to this game. As said in Money Ball "how can you not see the Romantic Side of baseball?"

I know I am. This is a hard game to be consistently great in and yet we are finding a way every year lately.

And under every coach that's been here. Nothing new about it.

His last pitch was a 97 mph fastball down in the zone. If that's ineffective, I will take it over other options.

Aside from the double, those last 2 ground balls were hit on the button. We were fortunate they went right at fielders and we actually made the plays. First 2 innings they couldn't touch him.
