The only way they come back is if they truly just love to play the college game. There's no way their stock rises much after already 5 years in college. ET would be like that dude DT Shackleford at Ole Miss that was like an 8th year senior. And I can't see Spencer coming back to play a 6th year with his injuries.

I haven't been told anything, but just looking at these guys' situations, it really doesn't make too much sense for them to come back. If Errol came back, it'd be his 6th year in the program. There's nothing else he has left to prove. All he'd be doing is taking a year off his pro career. And really, the same could be said for Kobe and Marquiss.
The only seniors I can see coming back are the ones that have something left to prove. Guys like Fred Peters, maybe Javonta Payton, maybe Sharp.

Those 3 aren’t getting drafted this year .. and I doubt anything would change next year .,
Maybe they are looking past football.. come back get your masters for free
It won’t take any years off their pro career if they leave after the season or next year .. they will sign FA agent contracts anyway ... and try to stay in league as long as they can...
Again all 3 may not be back , all 3 may... I’m just telling everyone it’s a fact they are really considering it

Our kicker is coming back to get his MBA or something like that. These are the only cases I could see for it happening a 6th year type deal. Maybe Eiland and Sharp and Payton come back for a 5th year.

As far as seniors coming back, I noticed that Mitchell, Payton and Ruiz did not participate in senior day during the pre-game Saturday. There may have been more but I remember that those 3 did not come out.

I'll be pumped if Ruiz comes back. Even though he missed one Saturday, he's the best kicker we've had in a long time. He's an NFL talent.

I don't understand why a team would do that to a high school kid.

Me either and it should be used against them by every school going head to head with them for a recruit. Just a plain low class, shitty thing to do. Kids getting dropped or processed is bad enough but getting one to turn down a sure thing only to shit on them after they do, takes it down to a new level.

I'm with y'all on this. Honestly this may be the worst thing I've seen them do to someone in recruiting.

This is true. They're good players but they're not slam dunks to be drafted.

Well tbh Dan Mullen did a pretty crappy thing to a QB several years back. I can't remember his name right now though.

Chason Virgil. Believe he dropped him about 16 days before signing day I think. Still, to flip a kid only to drop him a few days later is, to me, exponentially worse.

And Mullen got raked over the coals by the media. I think Finebaum may have even covered it.
Kiffin just got a kid to flip, wore a Merry Flipmas sweater to a press conference, and dropped the kid the day before signing day.
We'll see what the media does but I don't expect anything to become of it.

Yes- unfortunately drops happen. But at least in that case Dan and our staff helped him find another spot and we didn't try to stage some recruiting day flip and then say "never mind we don't have room after all- Merry Flipmas!"

You know the Clarion-Ledger won't do anything.

I can't recall anything as bad. I'm sure there is worse but not that I remember

If we keep Him, props to the staff they have recruited their asses off not just to him but to the whole Fam
I still think it?s good news come tomorrow
Not the staff, know they?re working hard. This shit just happens every single year to us. Others close strong where we just try to hold onto what we have. Frustrating

Nobody is acting like that, calm down dude. He makes a fair point, every single year we are trying to hold onto recruits that are committed to us all damn year
