He did. But that's never called in normals plays. Defenders lower their head all the time on plays in the open field and it's never called. But it is targeting by rule

We've run the toss several times this year, just haven't run it this much. It is a good play for our run game even though half time it is a pass.

We haven't run them like this. The RBs are already running down field by the time they get the toss

They were both playing handsies at first (no call) but watch the end of the play when the PI was called. WR had a hand full of Emerson's jersey. Emerson grabbed his arm to keep from falling down from WR jersey grab.

Marks should have had a first down on 3rd and 1 out of a two TE set of he would have gotten north and south immediately.
