Let say in 1930, a peaceful country in the South Pacific had a flag with a swastika on it & they never participated in WW2. Would that flag still be acceptable in 1950 even though that country did nothing wrong?
Perhaps the SWJs will attack Georgia's flag in time, but I think that flag was decided on as the perfect balance between being non offensive while also honoring the state's heritage.
Perhaps Mississippi can find the same balance.
So, the flag was adopted by a hate group at one time, and the decision to change the flag is in response to the hate group BLM.
