To be totally honest he’s probably the most qualified. Worked at Clemson under Dabo and Alabama under Saban. I was impressed by his staff and how it was set up too. But the most impressive thing to me was how he set ULL up like Alabama. He obviously knows what he’s doing.

What does that mean? What did he do? How did he set them up like Alabama? This is the 2nd time I’ve read this.

MmmmmHmmmm. Just knowing how quick he turned around what Hud left was a big check mark, watching him do it(seeing games) made it more impressive. He’s lost to us and App St. IMO, he was out-athleted both times. People in Alabama (other than tusk) verify his recruiting ability and having the number 1 class in the sunbelt proves it. He’s most assuredly better than what we have and we sure as hell could do worse.

I’ve come to the conclusion no one knows shit. They don’t want to “drop a name” or “out their source”. Well, saying who it’s NOT isn’t dropping a name.
Sack up. Is it Chizik? Not hurting yourself or sources by saying no. If you can’t, well then it’s either him or your a wannabe message board badass.

You do remember how bad Coach34 got bashed for releasing Dan to Tennessee hours before the Egg Bowl?
Let’s hopefully win tomorrow and then let things happen after that. It’s like 48 hours. Or less really.

Please just tell me it’s not Chizik. I don’t care otherwise. Like I don’t need the actual name of the guy for now. But I just want to know it’s not Chizik.

I've tried to get someone who says they are in the know, to take a guess. Crickets. Now I think it's funny that the same ones are bashing GP for not naming names are the same ones not naming names. That's rich. Guess we will know soon enough and then the revisionist history of confirming what they already knew can begin. Amazing the street cred you can build up when you have 20/20 hindsight that you pass off as being in the know.

I don’t understand why? He hasn’t really done much. I mean I would take him over Chizik if it came down to the two of them.

There’s a fine line between Internet cred and doing something that may potentially hurt MSU rumor wise. Despite the fact that we aren’t connected to the AD.
When you have multiple reliable people saying the same thing that have proven reliable I listen personally.
Bash Coach all you want but being a football coach gives him some connections as far as football. He did coach Marcus Johnson after all. I’m sure he can find some things out with a few texts.
But for me personally I also listen to Rogue, Commerce, Spider, and when guys like that are all saying basically the same thing...odds are very high that something is up.

It is not Chizik. Period. Will not be him because there is already an agreement with someone else. There will be a “mutual parting of ways” on Friday with Moorhead and we will go from there based on schedules. You can hold me to it. I will never post again if this does not happen

Look psycho- I'm saying we are making a change. Hell, our administration may not yet know who for sure we are hiring. Banging on posters for not knowing is insane

Everyone I consider somewhat "in the know" has told me the same things....
"It's an offensive guy"
"It's an exciting brand of football"
"You will be pleased"
To me, there are only two guys that somewhat stand out as big time offensive guys that would come to State....
1) Napier
2) Norvell
Personally, I think it's one of these two, and I hope it's Napier because I think he's a better fit for our recruiting and he will maintain a physicality in the trenches. Norvell is more finesse and his defenses give up way too many points.
Unless it's a wild card like Art Briles, which I hope to hell its not....I think it's either Norvell or Napier. So I'm going with Napier, and I hope I'm right.
I'm just happy as hell it ain't Joe Moorhead. Now I can enjoy the Egg Bowl either way, hopefully we pull the double whammy and beat their ass as Joe's leaves town. HailState and Go To Hell Ole Miss

Here's the problem with that. Anyone looking at us for 2 years realizes we need to do something different. Bring in new assistants or change the HC. I was for bringing in new assistants but from what I hear I'm past that. If guys weren't so enamored with being called connected, they could simply post something like this.
I heard from a friend who is a booster that changes are coming. He seems to be hearing its Eliah Drinkwitz. Hes been pretty accurate before.
But no, guys want to be internet rock stats and break the news so they are lauded. I dont care who gets credit, I just want info. Doing it that way preserves sources, but no, folks want to brag. Just like when Croom was hired, during Jackie's last game the word went through the stadium that it was Croom. I expect we will know tomorrow night.
