If it's the name someone just texted me I'm not impressed. It's a decent, probably safe hire but I'm not sure it's the best hire. We could have done better if true.

Read this entire convoluted thread and I'll just put it this way:

If it's Hud - I'll be disappointed. He may do a fantastic job, but it wouldn't excite me.
If it's Napier - I'll be more excited than Hud, but same general consensus regarding excitement.
If it's Norvell - I'll be pumped! Unless he's holding out for FSU, this would be a better gig than what he has.

I haven't seen any other names consistently mentioned, so went with those three. I would bet it's Hud, simply because that would be something we'd do and he's been discussed relentlessly to the point most on here would be excited.

Not the OP but my source was sure several days ago that it was Norvell with Shoop and TBuck on Defensive side. Now he’s not sure but thinks it’s gonna be either Napier or HUD

based on your previous posts my guess is that it's Napier or Hud with a possibility of Norvell since he was your 1A. You seemed very happy with the hire so that makes me think it's one of the three guys you mentioned. You weren't as happy with HUD as the other two. unless it's someone else that surpassed your expectations like a Whittingham or something.
