There's a lot of people pissed off and embarrassed.
Yep and what you and others have been trying to tell people for weeks now

I'll add this, if Cohen is behind this, then kudos to him.

He made a bad hire, but at least he's putting MSU first and doing the right thing.

    That's real leadership if true.

Norvell reached out after Tennessee is my understanding. Napier has been hot and heavy over the last two or three weeks. I don't think Hud has reached out but he would be interested I'm sure.
I could have interpreted it wrong but I think Steve was saying let the new guy's first year be a transition year.

I read it as just keep Joe since it will be a down year. But, that's just crazy. That's a wasted year. I hope I read it wrong.

You read it wrong. Steve said that, if your going to have to fire him next year because we aren't getting better, then fire him now and let the new coach have next year

On the Boneyard Steve said "if we know we are goin to have to (make a change) next year, let's go ahead and do it now and give whoever the new guy might be next year his transition year".

Hopefully the admin sees it the same way. Who knows.

I think a lot of folks on this board are going to be disappointed if we beat OM. I seriously doubt They let Jo go if we're 6-6 and bowling.

I want him gone so bad I can taste it, but I don't see him getting fired if he gets 6 wins

If Hud and Bill Clark are seriously in our top 5 candidates, I'd rather stay with the clown I know over the clown I don't. I like Napier and Norvell, they'd be in my top 5, but I'd go drop a lure on some bigger fish before I got to them. It's all going to depend on the kind of commitment the money guys want to make. We can get a sitting P5 HC (Clawson, Campbell, Satterfield) but it's going to take a very large investment. We went cheap 2 years ago and got what we paid for. Would be a fools errand to do so again.

I'm actually worried that Joe pulls a new creative gameplan out of his ass that we never see again. Kind of like Auburn last year.

We need to get on our knees and beg Whittingham to give us one more chance.

They won’t have to worry about that. We aren’t beating OM. They will rush for 500 yards

Job preservation is a strong strong motivator. Wouldn't shock me in the least.
