Was that roughness penalty on Tua?

Tank for Joe? He's carving them up.

Alabama defender tipped the ball so was first to touch it it looked to me.

I had a feeling LSU could blow Bama out. This isn't the LSU of old. They have a passing game now. Bama has always been troubled by good passers and receivers.

Illegal touching can be called on a replay. So can illegal forward pass, intentional grounding, delay of game, among others. Remember the delay of game penalty called on OM last year to end the 3rd quarter in the Egg Bowl? No penalty was called on that play for delay of game but it was enforced by the replay officials.

What a difference a coach can make. We saw that first hand last year with Fitz.

Didn’t see that at all. Ball didn’t look like it was tipped at all.

It was called a catch on the field. Thats why it stood. The receiver was clearly touched in the replay. Hard to tell if he was pushed but it has to be indisputable and it wasn't. Plus it certainly appears he established both feet in bounds on replay but that was hard to tell for sure as well. It being called a catch is why it stood.

I didn't see a tip either. It was just a bad call, and on replay at that. The only explantion I can find is that a Cajun has infiltrated the crew in Birmingham.

They didn't say the play stood. They said it was confirmed.

Has anyone checked in on our little Alabama buddy around here? During times of emotional distress is when they need support the most!
