I get it, my demon wears powder blue. 89 was my boyhood team.
Stanford eliminated us in 1990, but that Stanford team was dang good. Jeffery Hammond and Mike Mussina. UGA owned us that year.

Maybe Free Shoes University is the team of destiny tho? FSU are playing with house money (should not even be in the tourney) and they got the National pity case situation with Mike Martin

Morning all,
I've lurked all week & wanted to take a minute to post a couple thoughts. The personalities that make up your baseball board are strikingly similar to ours (I guess that's a baseball thing?) I wasn't at the games but from TV your stadium & atmosphere are second to none! Behind the scenes I do know both our coaches and players raved about the hospitality! About the the game last night.....I thought we played hard till the last out and put pressure on you guys. Every time we did your team responded and got the job done. The plays that were made with the bases loaded in the 6th & 8th decided the outcome in my opinion. It really shows the mettle your team has. Limiting us to 1 run with some of our best players at the plate shouldn't be overlooked. Our team is very young (no seniors) but one thing we have been able to do this year is score and your team didn't buckle. I thought your coaching staff made some great moves in the game also. Regardless of the outcome it was a great experience for our youngsters. We will lose a few draft eligible kids but do have a great core coming back so I'm in a hurry for 2020 to get here! Good luck in your Super & hopefully beyond. With your home field & atmosphere Omaha looks likely! Best regards, Bilt

Appreciative of the kind words. Your team definitely looks poised to be dangerous next year

Miami is a class program. I wish we played you guys in February every year - at your place. Starkville is no good in February. Your Freshman pitcher was solid under pressure.

That freshman pitcher worried me at first. Incredible how he handled that moment, and then rebounded after our big inning. You guys will be competing for it all the next few years. I was impressed.

Absolutely the most classic comment in this thread. Two thumbs up.
