    Cecconi. 4.19 ERA, 73 innings, 73 hits, 18 walks, 83 ks, .250 baa.

    Threw 42 pitches in relief Friday night, but has primarily been a weekend starter this year.

    If I recall correctly, Southern U wore powder blue Friday night and it didn't seem to work for Jake.

    He may be suffering a little mental letdown after pressing so hard to break the record, and now he's trying so hard he's gotten out of synch.

    Based on his stats he's nothing to be scared of anyway, and he threw 40 2 days ago so he won't be fresh. We should rock this guy by the 3rd regardless, but yes I wouldn't be surprised if the pressure of an elimination game infront of a hostile crowd that's easily 2x what he's ever seen before is too much for him.
