I'm tempted to say we may be the favorite.

Maybe joe can get him. Then hopefully Stevens and Zuber have a big year and we can become a place transfers look at (I.e. lesser Texas tech basketball).

We need the offense to show it's potential because this staff is so much more relatable in recruiting. This staff with a proven offense to sell could be scary.

If Stevens can bridge the gap for one year we are going to be able to do exactly what we want on offense with Rogers. His offense right now is near an exact copy of Moorhead's.

I doubt it is an exact copy. The reads are different and what he ran was a watered down version.

I like Rogers but the same thing was said about Shrader and he is still trying to pick up the college game. It's pretty hard to just step in as a true freshman and be ok with the speed of the game. I would be surprised if Shrader or Mayden were not the guy next year. My bet is on Shrader.

Key was gonna be the next great one for us too. 5-star QBs work out at around 50% of the time, so it's nuts to just assume a 3-star is a sure thing. QBs are hard to project

Rodney Groce Jr put us in his top 8. Any chance at him? He's from Alabama and has offers from both Bama and Auburn.

Damn near impossible if they both truly want him. It would be hard for anyone not named Georgia or Clemson to pull that off

Its what he wants to do. The reads are very similar on every play. Its one guy here or there and the ball can go a few different places. You could call 3 straight runs and they could all end up being passes. Fitzgerald struggled with that

Shrader isnt the passer Rogers is right now. He is a lot better athlete though and I dont know a lot about him personally but Rogers intangibles are top notch as well.
Moorhead needs a thrower that can run, Im afraid Shrader is a runner that can throw but thats just my opinion. Shrader is better than Fitz was when he first got here I will say that. Rogers wont struggle with the maturity and mental part on or off the field
