No ****ing way he is out at 2nd.
-
As an umpire you are taught to only call out when you see out. Hence the phrase “tie goes to the runner.”
Ump was anticipating out and it’s obvious. It’s a tie and should go to runner. Probably won’t.

What’s the point of review? Seriously??
-
We should have like 8 or 9 runs. Glad we're up, but I want to bury these 17ers.
-
Damn. That call was shit.

How do you get that wrong though and then reward his bad call?

Bulldogs continue domination of Ole Miss
BY RICK CLEVELAND

I thought safe from the get go but I figured we would get screwed. Evidence looked pretty clear to me. Oh well.
-
Well yet again replay is useless. They got that wrong
-
How in the hell is he called out there? Too proud to admit you got it wrong?
-
Bullshit call. LSU is so damn lucky. They'll stay within striking distance due to their luck, and this will be a tight game late

There is no such thing as a tie. The ball either beats him or it doesn't

Call probably would have stood either way but that was a huge baserunning blunder because it costs us a chance to have Mangum up with the bases loaded. So typical of crap we do on the bases. We are determined to keep LSU in the game. Can't get the big hit to break it open.

It was definitive he was safe just not definitive enough.

If we keep adding to, it won’t be close late. The more innings Smith gives us the higher percent chance we have to win. We’ve scored at least 1 in every inning so far.

Fixed it...

If his hand had gone directly to the bag I think they would have called him safe. The fact that his hand looked to be slightly above the bag and brought down gave them enough uncertainty to leave the call as it was made on the field.
