We are really putting competitive at bats on him pretty much every batter. For instance, even though Skelton struck out to begin that inning it was a 7 pitch strike out.

Not really, his first AB was fantastic- fouled off several, drew like an 8 pitch walk

Yep, I LOVE the approach. We're taking most 1st pitch strikes unless it's what we're sitting on, but when we get to 2 strikes we're fouling them off. We aren't chasing anything. Locey has to make 3 good pitches to get an out, not just 1-2. End result is high pitch counts, walks, and hits when he makes a mistake

Yes, I agree he had a very veteran at bat in the first to walk but as far as hitting he is struggling.

I'm just talking about today. Yes he's struggling to catch up to 94 but he's seeing it well and making the pitcher work, that's still helping us

5 Ks and Ginn is on. 4-0 going to the bottom of the 3rd.
-
Have I mentioned that I love watching Ginn? Cause I love watching Ginn
-
10 pitch inning for Ginn.

I think he’s been injured and still working his way back. I’d love to have him break out today and tomorrow.

Woot! Rowdy with a bomb! 5-0 Dogs!

my god this lineup is brutal

ANd again we see that if you stay patient, take balls, and make him pitch to you, you get good results. making hi pitch to us, rather than us hit to him if that makes sense

If they had this approach last weekend, we don’t get swept.

5-0 State going to the Top of the 4th.

Allen really has improved his defense at first. Very glad to see that.
