Well......allen never swings at the first pitch and it was his pitch to drive. Mangum always swings, and chases out of the zone. Geiautreax needs to have a convo with these guys.

We are facing 2 of the Top 15 pitchers in the conference on the road. Shit happens

Announcer said "Allen probably swung at ball 3" as if that low FB hasn't been a strike 50% of the time. Allen had to defend. His problem was that he expected an inside FB, tried to pull it, and so he missed the ball over the middle of the plate. Probably would have fouled it off if he'd stayed on it. Oh well. Game's not over with Mac and Foscue coming up though

He beaned Mangum, then walked Westy, no way Allen can swing at the first pitch there. The 1-1 pitch was the pitch to hammer and he just missed the double down the line.

I wish self would just throw strikes. We need a dp ball not 2 back to back 4 pitch walks.

Some pitchers can walk batters. Self absolutely can not. Especially the lead off man.

Me either. Really first head scratcher coaching decisions from Lemonis coming tonight.

He better not leave 85 over the plate or it will get destroyed
Self starting this inning is not what I would have done

He is dead on. The dude's zone sucks, but it consistently sucks nothing wrong with that,

None of us on the board either. This is a Gary Henderson type of pitching decision.

Basically Lemonis is rolling the dice and seeing if he can save the rest of the bullpen for the rest of the weekend. Playing the long game or big picture.

And that’s why you don’t start Self in the eighth.

Really shocking that we tried to squeeze 2 innings out of Self tonight. Not sure what Lemonis/Foxall were thinking.
