With the way the ump has been calling strikes, you almost have to crowd the plate as a right handed hitter. You arent going to even hit that pitch in the batters box that the ump called a strike.

Yeah, he may want to try taking one strike, but this pitcher is dealing. The 1st pitch has been the best ball to swing at. Once our guys get behind 0-1, i am not sure Westburg has touched a ball beyond the 1st strike.

The last 2 ABs he went after pitches out of the zone. The key here though is to get the starter out and the way to do that is to get his pitch count up.
