The ump really squeezing the strike zone this half inning.

It’s shrinking up period.

Wonder what crawled up this ump's butt?

This team is good but we will not make a serious run in the post season without a closer! Gordon is not the answer!

Power out in St Louis - can't watch just have Jim Ellis and my phone is dying

Somebody tell the ump he can call a strike even if the batter doesn't swing the bat

Holy shit. This is Gordon’s third inning and it’s 9-2. Get a grip!

He's thrown pretty well...just wearing down after 65 pitches

Exactly, he's getting down to where you can't get a strike call without grooving one. Nowhere close to where he was early in the game.

He’s not in a slump. He’s on pitch number 67 after 2 and 2/3s innings.

Who is the answer?
Which relief pitcher scares you least? Keegan James as closer? But we gets tagged pretty regularly
I wonder if Halter can do Utility work. By reputation he is a power arm and he is MLB prospect quality as a RHP
-
Time to change pitchers here just to see if the ump will give some strikes. He really messed Cole over in this inning.
-
Gordon out. Shoulda pulled him after about 50 pitches. Self comes in....scary spot for Self

It’s called Gordon pitching 67 pitches and the ump squeezing him. That combination will produce runs from any pitcher.

I like Cole as closer. He's pitched well today...just a long outing. Gordon is ok
