Well they have 7 left handers. But still, if we wouldn't have booted 6 grounders that led to 5 runs, maybe his #s would ve better. We just haven't made any outs in the field.

The fielding has been bad, but most of those bad plays were on smoked balls. Let's not act like Ginn didn't get hit pretty well. Scary to think what that LH lineup will do to Keegan's flat fastball tomorrow if they were able to square up Ginn

The reality is that we have 2 really great starters, and the rest is inconsistent. If Ginn and Small ever have issues, we are in deep shit.

Again, there was the Allen too lazy to get to his spot single error and the Halter error in the 1st that allowed all 3 runs and made Ginn get 2 more outs. Then halter didn't get the tag at 2B down like he should causing Ginn to have to get another out. Then Halter didn't get to a routing grounder causing 2 more runs to score and make Ginn get another out.

SO at LEAST 4 runs can be directly attributed to the crappy D, and Ginn actually got 4 more outs than the scorecard showed.

Play clean D and Ginn is 6.1 IP, 2 ER, and about 6 hits allowed. Vs a lefty heavy lineup that's not bad for his worst outing of the year

The bad part is that LSU's offense had been dogcrap the last few weeks. They've now scored 13 runs in less than 2 games with our best 2 starters going.
