Say what you want about the pitching concerns in this one, but my goodness what a resilient bunch this is. Tip of the cap, Dawgs. Now go finish this puppy off with 3 outs
Is it pitching concerns or is Auburn just hot against right handed pitching? Before they lost the last two they had a 15 game winning streak.

This team has swag! I love it! They just believe they're gonna win every game. Never out of any game.

I’d say Rowdey is back and we have a RH DH in Cumbest.

What was the final score?
This must be one of the longest 8.5 inning runs in our history.

2 of the lowest ERA's in the league give up 11, 17, and 35 runs in the games this weekend. Just as we all predicted.
Seriously though the pitchers have to step up. Even IF Leibelt improves some to be more reliable and Barlow gets a little better vs righties, we're still down a Sunday starter, long reliever, and a closer. Gordon can fill one of those IF he can find his postseason self. White can fill the closer IF he gets a new pitch. Ceratola can be the starter IF he gets better with his location. Self can help out IF he gets his velo up and can locate. Overall that's a lot of "IF" to having a well rounded team. If Small or Ginn have a bad start we're royally screwed vs anyone.
Overall though, as the hitters showed today, we can mash out way out of some jams. Just doubt we can make a run in Omaha without better relievers

No, we definitely have pitching concerns. But we've also go some guys that can bring the lumber and swing the bats. We're definitely a top-10 team that can sweep LSU next weekend.

The problem with the Sunday pitching for the most part is that pitches are all over the place. Outside, inside, high, bounced to the plate, etc., if they get a fastball over the plate, the batter is sitting on it.

IF small or ginn have a bad start then the other team has a chance to take a series...a chance. As we saw this weekend, a loss on Friday or Saturday doesn’t spell disaster.
We need somebody on the staff to step up to make it to Omaha. Once there two dominant starters will get u as far as needed.

I would encourage any young group of kids trying to play any sport to go back over last year and this year so far and watch this team. They are together. They play for one another and for the name on the front. Not the back. Its hard to beat a man that never gives up. And this team is that.
I thought after last year I may never love another team as much, but this one might top it

Cool jets. Just like cumbest didn't suck last week, as some said, when he I'd twice. He's also a young hitter that's gonna take some lumps. I absolutely love his upside and think he has star written all over him. As for Rowdey, he had a great weekend. He makes our team so much better when he's out there. Happy for him. Again too many getting impatient w a guy that's done it before. Way too many.
