Needs pitches. Needs to face some adversity and needed to work into the 90s. We had the runs to play with too. If you trust your bullpen and your players you still win this game. But hopefully Ginn learned a little today.

Now they're right back in it. What a dumb move. First head scratcher by our coaching staff. You gotta close out a 7-1 lead and road series win at a top 5 team. Can't screw around and leave a guy out there that is clearly done

Your views on this vs Rowdey are ironic

Don't understand how that helped Ginn, and it definitely hurt us.

Lemonis is the one I'm hoping learned a little.

Halter & Westburg are starting to concern me in the field

Hopefully we can get some runs back with Florida now in the field in the pouring rain.

Westburg made a couple nice plays there. The Halter throw was probably due to a wet ball.

There's a massive difference between a freshman Saturday starter and a sophomore LF batting in the 8 hole.

Rowdey has faced adversity for 19 games. Ginn has pitched in 5 in his whole college career. We need Ginn to learn how to pitch when he's tired and doesn't have his best stuff.

Pitching and hitting are so different it's amazing you think their situations are comparable.

It’s pouring down rain and that benefits the ones batting not fielding.

I would always have someone in the bullpen throwing.

I agree with you that we should've pulled him. But this and Rowdey's situation are completely different. Rowdey is pushing 3-40 in the month of March. He's faced adversity all month. This was the first time Ginn has really struggled.

They have not been great in the sun either. I'm not basing these thoughts on one game in the rain

We are going to need Ginn to learn how to pitch at the college level when he's running out of gas. Great pitchers learn how to pitch when they are tired.

We need Ginn to be able to reflect on this. He will sit with Foxhall and talk about the mental approach of what Ginn felt when he got tired and started losing his control. It will be a valuable learning experience because he's never faced adversity before as a starter in college. Face it now so you can learn from it and use it when the games truly matter.

I am concerned about Halter and his ability to play 2nd. I cringe every time a ball is hit his way just because I don't feel comfortable with it going there.

Now it will start to pour again. These conditions aren’t the best either and could have had an effect on Ginn and the fielders.

Damn, it sure seems we have looked at a lot of called third strikes this series. Maybe we have, but I don't have a count.
