Yes, they have several 3 point threats. They also do a lot of back cuts, which has given us issues when we played man.

I started to mention the back cuts too. Our team is young and Vic gotta get them ready for that.

Last year was the year we should have and there may be another coming up sometime in the future but this year ... my bet is Baylor right now.

Staley can't coach against Geno. She has a mental block. That's why I felt so sure UConn would win. Intangibles.

I guess I was wrong about UConn losing. South Carolina looking offensively inept.

To me ... it's how they falling asleep on D coming out of the half. And then they are shooting bricks now too. Staley just didn't have them ready coming out of half IMO. They came out slow and lethargic.

We were insanely talented and experienced last year.. Got complacent going into the 2nd half and then the infamous missed call leading to the winning 3.. I'll never forget it.. seared into my brain

I'm still trying to figure out why we quit pressing ND in 2nd half. Gals were too tight and not shooting well. In 2nd qtr pressure D gave us some easy buckets. Not sure why we didn't keep that up in 2nd half.

ETA: I'd actually prefer a #1 seed in Chicago tho.
Ehh.......that's the one place you need to avoid. It'll be a ND home game. Also probably need to avoid anywhere Baylor is playing.

That's the million dollar question. If he stays with Holmes and Danberry last year in the championship he wins. Instead he went back to William and Schaefer and lost all defensive momentum. When a team cant cross half court because of on ball defending, you stick with what's working. Vic is a great coach, but I think he'd even tell you he screwed that one up.

I think that's what he has meant when he says "He has to do a better job at bringing them home next time". Vic is great and I wouldn't trade him for anyone but he's still trying to go over that last hump. He's not the first great coach that has had to tho.

I meant a 1 seed in Chicago with same draw ... no ND.
