MY point is, he doesn't speak for the blue jays, that's idol chatter.

Johnson is visiting us and he knows our new WR coach, and he obviously knows our system and Moorhead. I don't know why we wouldn't go after Buechele. he's a better prospect than Kelly Bryant imo and I don't know where else he is considering.

My assumption is that he wouldn't have enough time to learn the system since he'd get here in the summer.

Making an absolute statement based off an assumption from a poster, nice!

If the assumption is correct, the I agree with hoops. The redskins picked up josh Johnson and played him the same week or maybe the next. If we couldn't get a player ready in months, something is amiss

I don't think our QB had trouble picking up the offense vs anyone besides the good defenses this year. Funny how that worked
ETA... Moorhead even said no one had picked up his offense so fast. Then once it was ineffective vs good defenses, it became all on fitz not being able to pick up the offense

That’s not an absolute statement. That’s a statement given the assumption is true. That’s what “then” means.
If X, then Y.
An absolute statement would be Y. Independent of if X.

With Ealy, you are talking about a rare mix of power, speed, acceleration, & arm strength with no guessing on what his future position & role SHOULD be. That puts him in the 5-15 overall bracket
I watched them both play each other last year at Brandon. There was at least 30 scouts there to watch and they both had their moments. Ginn struck Ealy out early but Ealy hit a bomb off Brandons reliever when Ginn came out to go to SS

If Buchele is there we should take him. Not like we dont have room. Worst case it pushes KT and the others to be better
