Hope he is available Saturday although we practically have no shot given we will be shooting our 3s with a Nike ball again. Probably will be another 3-20 night.

Being away from home has more to do with our shooting woes than anything , but every school Nike or whoever has different game balls .. so saying the game ball has zero effect on our shooting is false

Why couldn't our guys use some sort of sticky tack when they have to use the slick Nike balls?

My opinion but I think the ball actually has more to do with it than even playing on the road. It is definitely at least a factor or our player would not have brought it up at all. We set a 3 point record this year away from home against Clemson but it was with a Wilson ball. I was actually just kind of shocked to find out that the conference does not mandate a specific basketball for conference play. Heck, there should be one across the D1 NCAA but at minimum there should be an official "SEC basketball" for pete's sake. I've shot enough different basketballs in my day to know that the texture and feel of different brands are significant.

Message....Feed Perry early and often or prep for the NIT.

Playing on the road in this league is difficult because of all the home cooking that goes on, especially with the bigger hoops schools.
-
Are we really at this point? Do we really think that the brand of basketball we play with is the difference in games we play? What the actual hell?
It doesn’t matter what ball we play with when Lamar is being selfish and not distributing the ball.
It doesn’t matter what ball we play with when Holman has no effort on defense.
It doesn’t matter what ball we play with when no one wants to fight for a rebound.
When we do what we’re supposed to do, we are a great team. When we play like a bunch of selfish individuals, it shows.
The ball doesn’t matter.

Reference my previous post. Feed Perry. I agree with your post TXDawg.

How Ado is still playing over Perry is criminal

Meh. UM came into our house and just flat beat us.
Not saying there isn't home cooking for teams, but I don't think we play any teams where it's that prevalent.

Who’s going to defend the 5 ? Holman?
For all the shit Ado gets on his lack of offense which is warranted he is without question our best low post defender.
And you all do understand that Aldo, Holman or Perry can’t play 40 minutes a night?
Perry will keep getting more minutes his biggest problem right now is staying out of foul trouble
-
MSU is probably the ONLY team in the SEC that does not have a home court advantage. That is based on crowd support and ref biased. The crowds are getting better, but the ref biased has been happening for decades. Thus, our team has to beat both the opposing team AND the biased refs.
If you truly do not think that home cooking is real, you need to either get glasses or go to some live games.

Great news on Nick. Need him back ASAP. Hopefully that’s sooner than later

I don't understand people's issue with Ado. We've had defensive specialists in the past that people loved. Not sure why people don't understand that he's no in the game to score. He's there to stop people from scoring. I can't think of any blocked shots against bama oither than from him. Nobody else stopped the drive or protected the rim. He got beat some too, but at least he played helpside some.

We need to send Ado somewhere this summer and have him work on his offensive game. With His size and feet dude just needs to be 12-15 point a night guy the next 2 years
Someone find The Dream and see if he will work with his fellow countryman..
