At least they have a good crowd! All I've seen so far have been empty stadiums.

No kidding. Bowl season has been pretty brutal thus far. In all respects.

    21-7, now.

    But still....

Brohm should have left for Louisville or the NFL. He's a really good coach and his team hasn't shown much of anything thus far.

Let's just put this out there and settle things once and for all: The B1G West is not very good. Period.

    Peace.

Been wondering the same thing. As the old saying goes his tongue must be hung in the middle so it can run at both ends.

And it needs to be said. Who arrived at Purdue at any era in U.S. history and thought "Hey, know what? Crap Brown with faded gold makes some damn good fighting colors! Bet we could market the heck out of that! I mean, we are the Boilermakers right? Get me a cold lemonade with a mayo and cheese sandwich, I need to get my blood sugar back up after that!"

Hawks, do their supporters wear Leisure Suits and puka shells to Big10 games?

Purdue's defense is crap. Slow, slow, slow. How did they blow out Ohio State? Geez Urban, this Auburn team is mediocre.

Ha ha ha! That's a damn good take.

Purdue is a really, really good school. One of he best engineering programs in the country. I don't know much of anything about what else they're good at, other than having the world's largest marching band drum.

I haven't seen them in leisure suits and/or puka shells @ Iowa. I've been to their home stadium in West Lafayette, IN - and, frankly, it sucks. 3x more Iowa fans than Purdue that day (and others).

Other than Drew Breese, they got little going for them in football.

They're not like Georgia Tech (who REALLY dress up for games, i.e., circa 1920s with hats, dresses, mustache wax and vests).

Most Purdue people are very cool and don't drink much if at all.

    Damn intellectuals!

The Texas Bowl last night had a pretty decent attendance. Some have been practically empty.

Dang, Gus might hang a hundred on them.

It would be nice to see some competitive bowl games (except for ours).
