    They must have sold him on early PT somehow because word always was the family liked us. Frustrating to potentially lose a defensive player in our recruiting area to ark without any clear connection to ark

    Esp with us fielding an elite defense with draft picks coming up. Ark was a disaster

    They've absolutely got to be buying players there. There is no explanation for why a kid from Louisiana would choose Arkansas over MSU right now.

    Maybe we should contact Wesley McGriff. Guy is supposedly a really good recruiter, and he's worked with shoop at vandy. I'm not advocating fire tbuck... just throwing a name out there I actually like as a position coach

    He’s friends with several New Orleans players on the Arkansas roster. And I’m sure Chavis is selling his time at LSU.

    You guys did get Brule who we went after pretty hard.

    You should not be out recruiting us on a kid from Louisiana right now. Personally, I think you guys are starting to buy players. Your program sucks & you shouldn't be recruiting like you are.

    Before you laugh, realize that we are the team that fights with Ole Miss, well known cheaters, on most players. We know what cheating looks like.

    I’m not willing to go that far quite yet but Chavis has been bad on D for a while. For whatever reason we are struggling to sell success in recruiting. We didn’t capitalize on being ranked #1 and we aren’t closing well on D (thus far) after having the #1 D this year.

    That said I’m not sure how good Brooks even is over replacement value
