Why can't he sign? All he has to do is drop out of school and go to his MLB team.
It's no question that him committing and leaving would make this really sucky for us. But I have to imagine our staff understands the risk with him signing if he did.
Last thing I saw had him ranked number 21, so I have to imagine we've been in contact with him and his family on the specifics of what it would take for him to go to the majors.
