They have holes too this year. But Todd do like to blame all our offensive woes on Mullen and his recruiting while to me it's more on Joe than Mullen this year. Our Oline shouldn't have played as badly as they did in our 4 losses. And Aeris should've started all season also.

Joe does have some blame, but he doesn't have decent WRs and the OL was a big, power run unit for the Mullen style. Look at the OL we're recruiting this time. Most are in the 260-275 range, instead of the 320lb. We're looking for guys that can do more than just block down.

I don't see why anyone would blame Moorhead for lower level power 5 WR play and a QB with slow processing speed. Moorhead was very limited in what he could do offensively.

That being said, if Osiris catches the football, we are in NY6 Bowl

JJ just tweets he would be signing Dec 19.
My guess is that we will eclipse that 80%

How many new commits this weekend? I feel like 2 if Bedford makes the decision.

I think Cross, Pendley, and maybe Ealy are it for prospects. Bunch of commits coming in. Next week I'm hoping it'll be Hall and Jones. Bedford was last week.

I could see all the OL recruits wait until signing day before committing. They may pull the trigger this weekend but if they don't it's nothing to worry about.

Things went well. The whole crew plus JoeMo will be back next week. He's supposed to OV next week. As long as he shows up I expect him in this class.

As Prediction Pain noted in his stats to the Iowa guys ... this same group excelled at pass blocking the last 2 years. While all of the blame kinda flows up to Joe as the head man, Marcus Johnson is a young coach and no matter what anyone says, Hev can coach Oline. This team could've and should've averaged no worse in SEC play than we averaged last year. Some of it was game planning too. Joe is learning tho I believe.

ETA: I have noticed Joe appears to be going the lighter/quicker route for Olinemen.

Part of that is scheme why we gave up less sacks. We normally always kept a TE or RB or both in protection with Mullen.

Won't argue that and when we did that against TAM it worked really well. We let Allen eat us up all night when we played KY tho. IMO Joe should've made those kinds of adjustments earlier in the season in the passing game. About 1.5 secs before getting hit by a DE or LB ain't much time for Nick to "quickly process" information.

    No argument from me.
