The University of Iowa, Home Of The Iowa Hawkeyes is the flagship public research university in Iowa City, Iowa.
It's OK. We all know who we're playing. It's sort of an inside joke I suppose, because ESPN especially, and many other media members, seem to get us confused with the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), so we tend to just pass the confusion around a bit. This afternoon at the women's basketball game with Texas, one of the announcers even referred to us as Southern Miss.
