No clue either way and I can't criticize him if he thinks the NFL is a long shot enough now, that taking a sizable payday from Auburn and enjoying the playing guaranteed playing time is the right call for him personally. Not sure what a one year transfer like him can get, but if it's $100k (which seems expensive considering Cam Newton was only $200k and was a much bigger impact player and potentially had two years of eligibility in the event he was good but not early NFL draft good, but you have to look at what they're on the hook for for Gus and how much a solid QB with any running ability would do for their system), then that's a nice little paycheck to leave college with if the NFL is not an option.
