Javorrious Selmon makes it #3 for the 2020 class. Another 4 star.

Gregory Brooks is visiting Arky this weekend. I think they have a good chance of flipping him.

What makes YOU think that? Are you an insider?

Not saying they are, however I think they currently have the 13th ranked class in the nation.... Morris is doing SOMETHING over there. I know he’s known as an elite recruiter but damn.

Their ranking is 16th I believe but you have to look at rankings this time of year by the number of commits as well. They are already at 23 so the total points is higher than some teams per player avg just because of how many they have committed. We are almost identical but have 4 less commitments. Same number of 4 stars. Not taking away Morris recruiting, doing well but he is doing almost the exact same as Moorehead and about where Ark has been recently anyway.

With what we've gotten production wise from Whop I would have loved to have redshirted him too. But hindsight is 20/20 and considering the performance of our WRs this year can you imagine the what would be said about our coaches if he had redshirted? "WHY AIN'T WHOP PLAYIN'?!?!?!?! OUR RECEIVERS SUCK AND OUR DUMBASS COACHES ARE REDSHIRTING A 4 STAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I agree with you overall but with our WR core this year wasn't the year for redshirts. Hopefully as we build a little more depth we will be able to redshirt more of these guys that aren't quite ready.

Just like how we bitched all offseason about how dumb-ass Mullen redshirted Austin Williams. Williams gets a whole other year in a college program and proceeds to do jack shit through 9 games. Mullen clearly knew he wasn't ready for a real game, but all of us fans (myself included) heard how good he is in practice and bought the hype.
You're absolutely right Hoops, if Whop was redshirting everyone would be bitching about it

I'm ok with both playing, because they need to be ready to be big contributors in year 2. You don't get that game experience by redshirting. You redshirt the ones not physically ready. Times have changed and you can't redshirt your top recruits as much anymore. Especially if they're skilled.

Not sure what the 17 you mean by this, but he's visiting them this weekend, Morris has been tearing it up, and I just wouldn't be surprised if he flipped. No I'm not an insider and don't claim to be. But no recruit is 100% committed to you if they're still taking official visits.

Brooks is coming to Vegas next week and will see us lay the damn hammer down on Arkansas. 10 hours to 4 hours from home. Opportunity to play pretty early at both schools IMO. I don't see him flipping but I don't know a damn thing about him either. Usually a move like that involves a connection of some kind.

The #13 ranking is on Rivals, but not many use them anymore. One more 4* would move Arkansas up to #9 on there though. Pretty crazy considering Arkansas will probably finish 2-10. The SEC West is just brutal. Arkansas is having its best recruiting year in decades and still could end up a close 6th in the division.
De'Monte Russell is visiting with Brooks which surprised me, didn't even know Arkansas was on his radar. Hogs already have 9 DL committed so not sure how many more they need lol.

Arkansas MLB De'Jon Harris is from Harvey, La. too so I think they know each other pretty well.

2020 is sounding good but about about 2019? It is getting close to the early signing period and only have 19 commitments.

I don't anything about him really. I'm just guessing here. That's just a long way from home to play for a terrible team.
