I say we go ahead and name Jarrion Jones a player/coach. Let him finish his career and then put him as lead recruiter.

They may be related but it's not his brother.

I expect Mingo and hall both in this class and feel like we are 50/50 on cross. What a finish that would be

Are we expecting Heath to be a december 2019 graduate by chance? Be nice to have him on campus for the spring. I guess I am assuming we are still expecting to offer and for him to come?

Adding those 3 would give us 243 recruiting points on 247, with 22 commits, which would've finished 18th in 2018.

If we finish inside top 20, I'll be impressed.

Yes he's expected to get out in December. We've offered & we expect him back.

That would be about the ceiling of what we've shown we are capable of.
As I posted last week, our uptick in talent is mostly due to more consistently recruiting in the top 25 rather than the recruiting volatility we've seen on other eras of MSU football. However, we haven't really done much to increase our ceiling as a program.
Point being, we could recruit 15-25 for 10 straight years & have 35+ 4 & 5 star recruits on the roster & in any given season only 1-3 players that could start for Bama. It is what it is I guess
This year, with one of our better rosters, how many could start for Bama?
Simmons
Sweat at some position
Jenkins
Anyone else?

This is why I wish we could RS guys like whop and Murphy. They weren't ready this year; but if you can sell them on RSing, we can potentially equalize some of the talent deficit with experience

I hear you, but that gets around the conference & makes it more difficult to recruit.
I think you have to play players that can help your team or you'll struggle to recruit those types of players.

It has been a great day for MSU, Espinoza-Hunter cleared to play and 2 top 5 4-star 2020 football commits, making MSU #17 in 2020 team rankings! Hail State!
