I'll add that this committee is supposed to watch the games of the teams. If they do that you see that we should have beaten Florida and killed ourselves with penalties and drops against KY and turnovers against LSU.

I don't think there's anything that says they are supposed to watch every game.

We pretty much have to be. The only other contenders are teams we beat (Auburn, A&M) and Washington, who lost it Auburn. The Committee puts a big emphasis on head to head results.

If they watch the games, we look like a team with our head up our asses on offense. I honestly don't know which way that cuts. Yes, there's nothing stopping us from catching balls, which if we do that we are easily a top 20 team with our defense. But we were so inept in our three losses that maybe those losses were worse than the score looked. Honestly I would say we had one good game at home against A&M, that the Auburn win is not to be trusted, and we looked like hot garbage in our three losses. We're not far from being very good. But I don't think we've done anything to prove that we are good.
If you go by the basketball rating system, then we should be very high. A couple of good wins and although our losses looked terrible if you watch the game, none of them are losses to bad teams.

Well yeah, 9-3 win a win over Alabama gets us into the top 10 for sure.
