This and the fact that we played (at the time) 2 one dimensional offenses in SEC somewhat concerns me with our D. They were better and were flying around hitting people last week, but there were some plays AU left on the table.
JoMo seems to like to praise the team a lot and to a point that is good. But I think he needs to be after them more to get better at what they ain't doing well. And they ain't doing everything well yet, but haven't had to on D yet either. I'm not just yet totally buying #1 scoring D ... which everyone will probably scream back at me. Sure we're #1 scoring D, but I still say LSU will be our biggest challenge to date, then TAM comes to town.

We shall see. Arkansas is shit. Auburn is better. Remember Arkansas scored 3 against Auburn. The difference will be Auburn?s D. I think Auburn will win by at least 10.

I have never understood why this is not a 15 yd penalty for taunting. I have seen us get the penalty for throwing up their fin.

Oh I definitely agree that Arkansas is shit and that Auburn is better....I was speaking strictly to the offense.

I guess we get the penalty because it’s their thing. It doesn’t bother me. If we get to ring cowbells, they can throw up a little fin, even if their defense is horrid and it makes them look dumb.

We've beat three cupcakes and a bad AU team. Our upcoming games will show who we are this year.

I agree. I'm hopeful we get a LOT better over these 2 weeks. JoMo ain't never been to DV either.

Our two losses to KY and FL with the upcoming games will make our record much worse than expected for the year if we aren't the team many expected (and not just us State fans), b4 the year started.

Well, I'm not writing off the LSU & TAM games just yet, but I've gone from letting myself get wooly before the season (and knowing better not to), to being somewhat hopeful, and that only after last week's win. Maybe if we win next week I may elevate to cautiously optimistic **

Disappointed in that outcome, but not surprised. Experienced a lot of losses like that the last 6 years. Really hope Morris can avoid an 0-15 or whatever SEC start like Bielema had. That game was one of our few chances for a win this year.
