There is a few guys that are talented enough to hit for average and have some power. But for Most of these guys, they are average college hitters at the moment. Nothing more or less.

If RJ was at State for 4 years seeing sec pitching, that dude would be a well rounded hitter. Hancock and James can hit for avg with some power. However Hines, Cumbest, Clark, Tanner ... they will never be Tony Gwynn or Jeffrey Rea. They are big guys with big swings. Doesn't matter who the hitting coach is.
