IMO and from my experience ... the closer to the Atkins diet any type O or B blood type is the better. Wheat is a type O's enemy. The A & AB blood types are more vegetarians and can handle bread & gluten better in most instances.

Sugar, pasta, breads, cakes are the US society's enemy in the weight loss/maintenance realm.
