If it’s who I was told last week, very surprised by the name, then it’s not a normal coordinator you are thinking of. Or not from a normal program.

Now THAT makes me curious. PM? Clearly the public mentioning of names a couple of days ago didn't help our situation, so no need in doing it again. Let's learn a lesson for once.
It's the roller coaster of hope that this program keeps us on that makes it hell being a State fan. - CadaverDawg, 10/15/22

Apparently, he has a close personal connection with someone inside the athletic department who gauged his interest which there was alot more than they could have anticipated.
Eric Washington?

Eric Washington. Current D coordinator with Carolina Panthers. Would be a terrible hire.

People are pissed but the admin isn't back down. This is bad guys. Bad bad. We've somehow managed to self impose something worse than probation. We've alienated our money guys and fan base all at the same time. I get they can tell the boosters to F-off with the TV money coming in, but the empty stadium isn't something they'll be able to recover from. I'm honestly worried that's where this is headed.

Agreed. But keep up the info on everything else. I don’t think it is helpful to put names out there anymore.

Yeah no thanks. I want an offensive mind. Hell, even Saban's teams are losing after scoring 40+ these days. Defense is still important, but I want a head coach with an offensive background in today's college football

If we keep him it will be a ghost town. How do they not realize this? Are they really happy with the way our team has performed the past two years?
Shit like this pisses me off. I was happy when Cohen was named AD because I thought he wouldn’t be ok with underachieving at MSU. Looks like I was way off on him.

Supposedly his hiring would be contingent on the quality of assistants he could either bring in or keep.

Unbelievable.
At least it's not happening in the public like Tennessee's, but I wish somehow we'd end up getting what we want.
Which is damn near anything but Moor Joe
