This! I mean, Joe lost 5 games with top NFL talent. Who cares what HS players he gets if he can?t help them get better?

No offense to anyone and appreciate those who have legit sources bringing info here but I’ll believe this when I see it. I fell for this too much the first go around and got to excited and got my hopes up.

The players that are committed now are committed to a Joe Moorhead coached team. You think we make a coaching change 4 days before signing day we will keep all those guys? You're out of your mind.

Anything us blue collar boosters can do to help move the needle? I mean, my brother, who played at OM, text me the news first (rosebowl) and said he felt like they really won the egg bowl after all....

in the their thread it was like pulling teeth to get you to say why you felt keeping moorhead was best, and even then I still can't get you to answer my questions about you logic on Napier not wanting the job if we fired Joe. If you're so confident in your position then tell us the logic you used to get there

Who cares? Having the correct coach is infinitely more important

Of course we wouldnt, he's saying you don't keep a coach for a recruiting class. If the coach sucks, it doesn't matter what recruits he gets. Get the coaching situation fixed first and foremost, regardless of what it does to recruiting.

That sounds sound. I believe no competitive P5 program survives without their cigar boys. Like it or not, we have to depend on them shoving their money in the right places. It's just the way the real world works.

Nope, Defensive minded guy born and played college ball in Louisiana who has been in Carolina for a couple of years and comes from a pretty well respected coaching tree. Name really came out of nowhere, but to me would really make a splash however I'm not sure that he is still in the picture after what has transpired.

And who says they are all gonna sign?? If that falls apart oh boy. And with that said, we have ONE guy, one who is from an out of state high school committed. One. Thought he was the recruiting guru.... I've said it once and I'll say it again, this staff works harder than the last staff at recruiting. Show me some difference in results. I've seen the difference in coaching

If we go the coordinator route AGAIN after Moor Inability to Score, we are idiots. Especially if Napier still wants the job or by some miracle we could pull Norvell, although I think Norvell is more likely destined for FSU.
It's the roller coaster of hope that this program keeps us on that makes it hell being a State fan. - CadaverDawg, 10/15/22

Let's just be honest, this current recruiting class is not that great. We need to stop pretending like it is.

Let me tell you, this is a guy who would be a coming from a major role. Has been wanting to get back into college for a while and would have 100 times the impact of Napier OR Norvell. However, there would be more questions with his hire than those two but it was a very interesting candidate to be thrown into the mix. Apparently, he has a close personal connection with someone inside the athletic department who gauged his interest which there was alot more than they could have anticipated.

What's the biggest screw up? That we beat OM and Moorhead went stupid in the presser?
