He suggests that a kid signing a scholarship has the option of 1 one year, two-year, 3 year or 4-year deal in a contract. It would help schools big time with the portal and NIL.
It's a way of controlling the school's rosters, same with the Nfl signing players.
Something needs to be done and I like his idea.
That's so simple it might actually work. Or at least help.
I have to ask, what is the incentive to sign more than one year?
I would assume it's similar to the NFL. A one year deal means you better perform immediately or you will be cut as compared to a guaranteed 4 year scholarship deal.Quote:

Considering the attire that Gundy wore at a practice that could have cost him his job, Gundy is the least qualified coach in America to comment on this issue. The Courts have ruled on this issue and the Courts are not going to let anyone back door proxy a method to quash or limit their rulings.
So long as kids are allowed to transfer and be immediately eligible, it won't do anything. Everyone would sign for 4 years then ditch as soon as the money came calling

Take notice of the third link about Anti Trust considerations, by the Court in regards to governing students. The SCOUS basically severed the link with Anti Trust considerations that the NCAA had prior to its rulings thus there will be hard rock mining to alter the Courts encompassing viewpoint that includes NIL and student movement.
