I didn't remember Justin being injured. Anybody know what he did when?

The way I understand it Justin had a foot, could have gone last week, decided to rest it. Jameon is now supposedly 100% could have gone last week as well.
They're both gonna play Saturday unless they re-injured themselves in practice
Justin could have played last week. Precautionary.
i just honestly have the feeling that we are going to maul Bama. don't get me wrong, i do believe they will score, but i believe it is going to get really ugly for the Tide on Saturday.
Well you can go ahead and get rid of that idea. People who beat Bama at home: LSU, Johnny Football, Cam Newtown... None were blowouts. It's going to be a battle until the final whistle I can promise you
when has Auburn been beaten by more than a score ? been a couple years. UNTIL THIS ONE.
I think this team has been on auto-pilot for the past 3-4 weeks. They have been circling this one for a while. gonna get nasty on saturday.
I really want to agree with you. I keep trying to assess this game with my mind and not my heart, and I keep coming back to MSU winning the game. If you remove the name on the front of the jersey and irrelevent recruiting rankings, and then compare the two football teams, by how they have played this season, I think you have to lean MSU in this game.
What I think is funny about how the media has broken down this game this week is that they have broken down the game in the same way you would have during the preseason: Alabama has better players and is at home. The problem is, we have so much more information that now. We know that MSU is a really really good team, has already won big games on the road, and Bama struggles to score points.
Then the media leans on the opinion that Alabama is a much better team at home than on the road, but fail to offer any reason why, other than to say, "Sims is more comfortable at home". It is my experience that this is probably more correlation than causation and that inconsistency eventually catches up with you. The truth is that Bama is just now entering the meat of their schedule and has played beat up, worse teams at home than on the road. They've played nothing close to MSU at home and to say otherwise is brutally terrible analysis.
This is our year. Not sure by how much, but we win.
The only way it gets out of control is if we force turnovers, which we have NOT been doing the last few weeks. That is how we got out to such a big lead over Auburn.
We dropped 4 INTs against UT Martin. I would beg the differ and say that the odds are that we start holding on to those. We create turnovers, and the fact that we haven't in the past few games, means that it could average out in this game.
If we get a lead and Bama is forced to play from behind, I think their is a great chance that we get a number of turnovers. If Bama is forced to throw the ball without us having to respect their run, Sims is in for big problems because he doesn't read coverages
blow them out. They feel as if they are the underdog. They're not ranked in the top 4 right now, coming off a big win at Baton Rouge and will have the officiating on their side. None of that bodes well for us. Do we have a chance, yes but a blowout it will NOT be.
We gonna cover the 8...State by 10-14
correct. since 2006 the only team to do so was @SC in 2010... 35-21
the other regular season loses were:
2007 (5) - UGA 26-23OT, LSU 41-34, MSU 17-12, ULM 21-14, AU 17-10
2008 - none
2009 - none
2010 - (2) @LSU 24-21, AU 28-27
2011 - (1) LSU 9-6OT
2012 - (1) A&M 29-24
2013 - (1) @AU 34-28
2014 - (1) @OM 23-17
Tusk, I don't care if the spread grows to 20, the Bama team that beat LSU last weekend isn't beating MSU. So unless Bama has another gear that we haven't seen this year, and no Texas A&M doesn't count because that was a beaten, discouraged team when you played them, then Bama is going to get beat on Saturday.
Coming off of a physical, emotionally draining game at LSU, Bama will have to play at a higher level than they have all year to win Saturday. The media seems to think they will. We shall see.
It's at -10 now...
Most people are betting on State...
I think all this is a product of history and us coasting the last 3 games. People have simply forgotten how good we are. Especially when we are up.
I still don't understand why the Bama win at LSU is legit and proves how great they are, but the State win at LSU is not. LSUs not THAT much better. Their QB still sux.
It's always hard to beat Bama...hell, look at the record. and it ain't just us. They own everyone.
I'm really anxious to see if Tubby is back at 100%. He could help a ton, but it's hard to imaging him being "back" until I see it. Seems like years since he's played.
