More than just one man. This is what happens when games are fairly referred.
Saban was an all time great truly elite coach. He could take 4-5 star proms donnas and get the most out of them.
That's a lot harder than people think by the way.
If we have an opening and Saban wants to come here as a retread we better be all over it. He would get our shit straight.

He definitely was part of the attraction. Don?t get me wrong. He built something that was attractive to recruits because they want to win and he could push them to be great and be surrounded by top talent.

Remember that Saban's first year was 6-6 regular season, and then the dynasty began. And he got beat by Louisiana Tech (or similar) and even Croom. Hard to tell if DeBoer will be another Saban or Bear, or one of the lesser coaches there.Quote:
