Bears threw to top 3 hitter in the nation with first base open and man on 2nd. Papi gaps a double on them for the win in the bottom of the 9th.

Bianco has lost his mind. I love it!
Gotta love it! One hit wonders. Hmmm, perhaps those bats made a difference?
They are starting to crucify Bianco postgame. The U should have a post game presser
I can't believe when he got behind in the count, they still came at him.......
That's just dumb baseball. The only runner that matters is on 2nd with two outs and their best hitter at the plate, throw it off the plate with a 3-2 count and hope you get the call or start over with the next batter with the force in place.
I can't believe they threw to him!
When I flipped it the bald guy was ripping Bianco for letting their best player beat them. Late inning managing 101.
That situation was so simple. Walk papi, bring in short, go after 2 leftys.
Presser now!!!
OM's top players went 0-for-17
Bianco sounds stupider than his fn decision was. How in the **** did he get them here.
Bianco made his decision even dumber with the way he answered the question about not pitching around papi. The smartest guy up there is the Freshman Robinson
Michael Bonner
@MikeBBonner
Bianco: The reason the pitch count was so low was because we didn’t get any hits.

Ole Miss hasn't won a game in Omaha since 1969.
They went 0-2 in 1972
1-2 in 1969
0-2 in 1964
2-2 in 1956
So this makes Ole Miss 3-9 in Omaha with no HINT of success since their first appearance in 1956!
We had as many wins in Omaha last season as the Bears have in their entire history
That was the only ball that any of their players squared up and it was a routine fly. This is the type of hitting that I expected to see from the bears throughout the season. They should be making flight accommodations to come home Tuesday night. Epic failure
So, the BearSharks get ONE hit and look like total shit with the new bats? I'm shocked. Shocked, I say.**
The butthurt from them if they lose Tuesday will be so strong!
Bianco should appeal the game under the pretense that illegal bats are good for the game
Brief history lesson- Maine was one of the top programs, and was probably the premier program in New England in the 1980's. Bill Swift used to pitch for them before going on to a nice career in MLB. Their coach was a guy named John Winkin and he is a HOF caliber coach. We played them in a regional in 1991 I think and beat them.
What was Bianco's reasoning for pitching to Papi?
