Ha, I meant we will not lose all 4 of them.

I get to where I hate recruiting more every year. You've got all of this mess going on with OM and MAYBE they will get something from the NCAA on all of it but who knows. Then you've got a deal like Davis where he obviously wants to go to MSU but "deals" I'm sure are in place that are going to prevent that. And you see cases like his most every year. The whole process seemingly gets more disgusting every year.
ETA: And the last time a guy really wanted to come to MSU but wasn't allowed to he won a Heisman Trophy and a NC for Auburn.
Maybe in 2008.
The numbers just don't support what you are saying any more. There is no fence around pulling elite talent out of Louisiana. LSU gets a lot of talent in a talent-rich state. For sure. But nowhere in the country does a better job of keeping home grown talent in state than Mississippi does. It's to the point Bama is the only school still spending significant effort here chasing the elites.
I stand corrected. More perception than reality then. But to my other point, with the way we recruit so close to home we can't afford to lose our best players in our backyard and expect to gain ground on our conference elite.
Apologies for ranting last night folks. Weak moment I guess
Now back to what's important... Did we receive any good news from our weekend or other schools'?
Any update from this weekend? Especially on Reese and Cushenberry. Those are 2 OL we could certainly use. Also notice that Aaron Dowdell is coming next weekend. We have a legit change at him?
New commitment. Clanga tweets from staff. I'm guessing Couch
Yep. They have 2 OL spots left & they have 2 guys ahead of Reese they feel pretty confident in (Landon Dickerson & Jauan Williams). If they miss on 1 of those guys then he'd be next. Problem is I don't think those guys decide until Signing Day & I don't believe Reese will wait it out that long.
