And Marquise Spencer will prob move inside as well
Yeah we lose Simmons and no one will fill those shoes but we aren’t as thin as eveyone thinks

Lee Autry is the only one who has taken snaps (other than redshirt snaps allowed now in 4 games). The depth at DT is one of my biggest concerns. We will be depending on unproven players to play a huge role. Someone will actually be required to start at DT who has taken no snaps at the position (other than the 4 redshirt games). It might be the only position on the roster where that is required. But I do love the potential of the young guys.
247sports readjusted their ratings so that Charles Moore is now #3 in the state. He's ranked higher than Pickering which is completely laughable. Charles Cross, who many thought would be a 5 star, didn't move much. It's all about who you're committed to with these rankings.
300th page. Just saying. 7 pages of recruiting and 293 pages of whatever Clemson, Bama, and Oklahoma are doing.lol
He was ranked #27 back in November 2017. Then in December there was a lot of chatter he might commit to us. He jumped to the 70s. In February he commits to us and boom. He jumps into the 80's. Then progressively over the next year he hovers in the high 90s and low 100's. He decommits from us and all of a sudden he's now #62 overall. The last time he was ranked that high was November of 2017, 3 months BEFORE he committed to us.
Tell me that isn't messed up.
This is a prime example of why we shouldn't chase recruiting stars. We've (myself included) gotten wrapped up into the evaluation system of these sites to the point that we don't acknowledge the evaluation done by our staff (the ones being paid to recruit).
It is used as fodder when we don't "lock up" the state of MS or people that claim this year's class is deep in talent. The last time I checked, we rose to #1 in the country (albeit it was bit of a mirage) with the talent we signed and it wasn't a bunch of 5* kids.
I think we could all agree that the level of talent our staff is bringing in is head and shoulders ahead of where we were 10-12 years ago.
