Smootness is right. The problem is Robbie Faulk and his minions were so vocal about wearing State script that we basically had to wear that for a little while once they got their way. The next year they changed their tune to interlocking less than a year later. Logo changes are expensive.Quote:

I generally don't like white helmets, but with the interlocking MSU against TN, there it was for the world to see, MSU, Mississippi State University. When asked since 1977, where I graduated from college, I have always replied State or Mississippi State, never "MState. I have the Bulldog Club script State tag on the front of my Equinox, but the leading "S" looks like a musical note or symbol. An interlocking MSU decal has returned to the rear hatch glass of the vehicle. We have more choices to represent MSU than any university I know. Maybe it makes for more sales to our fractured fanbase, but doesn't do much for national identity. JMO, but M over S for baseball and nationally known, Interlocking for football, MState for MBB and choose from any of them including scrip for all other sports. Hail State!
I was pretty much over the interlocking MSU but admit they looked pretty good. I wouldn’t have a problem going all in or at least mix it up during the season. I hated the white helmets for a long time but don’t mind mixing it up as well. I would prefer maroon most of the time tho. Next time I have dinner with Keenum I’ll make that suggestion. Ha.

Kudos to Selmon for making the move and listening to the fans. The interlocking logo IS Mississippi State football and the majority of fans that care about such things believe that. We've got our logo back.
