We had not done squat against LSU for 20 years. Look at the teams of this year and compare them. We aren?t going to get blown out. Alabama is not what you’re making them out to be in your head this year. They are better than us, but it’s not as big a gap as our fans are making it out to be for this year’s team. What has happened in the past has no impact on Saturday. If, and it's a big IF, Mullen decides to actually game plan a little for this one and not play his usual tippee-toe dance with a good team on offense while he puts his defense deep in the hole every damn possession, then we might can hang for a while. And maybe for most of the game.

Also, I believe it would help if Gibson got some significant carries in this game. He's the most powerful and has the best vision of all our RBs. Aeris might can gain some yards, but against Bama I believe Gibson is the better running option.
