For some God unknown reason DC think the way to stop that offense is to play soft zone. We started to blitz and we held them to two long field goal attempts. And then we shit the bed the last drive on both sides of the ball.

preferably not, but i would sure as hell exert some oversight. if his flaws were gently pointed out to him, and/or he refused to accept them and correct them, then hell yes i would fire him. that's a basic concept of successful businesses. everyone has their flaws, but the only bad employee is the one that won't improve themself.
