Well. I think State finishes Top 25, but it will be close. I guess a Top 25 these days with 23 losses, with 5 being Quad 4, is a job saving season. Maybe he will come through with a Top 40 Portal for next year. Although I have no idea who would want to play for him!

It is definitely time to make a coaching change. This team was much better that it had been in previous years in a large part due to the pitching. However, our offensive approach has been awful. We have no 2 strike approach and are just giving up outs without the other team having to make plays. We also lack many power threats besides hunter and Dakota. Looks like the only regular starter coming back is Brice. He showed improvement also. I don’t see anyone else coming come. Lots of unknowns and filling our roster.
LSU held on to Manieri for quite awhile after he won a NC. Considering we have kicked LSU's ass in baseball the past two seasons I'm not sure why he would want Lemonis to stay?Quote:

It was a better than average chance that we were not going to use him so he didn?t hurt his draft position. I am sure he had an agreement with coaches on a game by game usage call. You don?t risk a kids future if you know he is leaving. That is one thing I have to give Lemonis is that he does protect his guys injury wise.
